Yosemite National Park in California is one of our country’s most iconic landscapes, but most people only see it in the summer. Thankfully, we can share some of the park’s winter beauty. Here, surrounded by snow, Lower Fall breaks the snowy silence and rushes down into the valley. It’s a sight you’ll never forget. Photo by National Park Service. A full moon shines down on Denali National Park & Preserve in this photo taken from the Eielson Visitor Center. With six million acres of Alaska wilderness, massive glaciers and snow-capped mountains, imagine what more you could see after leaving the parking lot. Photo by Lian Law, National Park Service. This is an amazing photo! It looked very different when I was there in November.
