A snoozing sea otter in Kenai Fjords National Park. These cute mammals are found in the coastal waters of the Pacific Ocean, including areas around several national parks in Alaska. Their dense coat of luxuriously soft fur helps keep them warm in cold waters, where they can dive up to 250 feet in search of food like clams, crabs and sea urchins. Photo by National Park Service.
