Delicate Arch   Leave a comment

A dazzling shot of one of the most famous geologic features in the world: Delicate Arch at Utah’s Arches National Park. After hiking for about 2.5 hours on a 3-mile route, Karen V. Peralta made her way to the iconic Delicate Arch. The storm clouds painted the sky above as rain drops showering the red rocks below, making the sun shine with all its might and leaving this breathtaking view of the arch, says Karen. “This photo was taken Memorial Day weekend of 2015, making it one of the most memorable weekends we've ever had exploring the beautiful Arches National Park.” Photo by Karen V. Peralta. Tweeted by the US Department of the Interior, 7/8/16.
