Logging with horse power and then making lumber with steam power (I think!?!) … that’s labor to celebrate.
Many of my ancestors did this type of work.
I don’t think I can fully appreciate what hard, dangerous work this was. That’s OK … I have no aspiration to use 100-year old technology to the exclusion of modern advances!
