Velda’s Gorgonzola Butter   2 comments

The perfect top for the perfect steak.  Or tri tip … or, what’s your pleasure?


  • 1/2 lb gorgonzola cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely minced
  • 1 shallot, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, finely minced
  • salt & pepper, to taste


Stir the cheese and butter together until they are thoroughly mixed.  Add the other ingredients and combine.  Serve!
