The Morning Run, III   Leave a comment

This is the western side of the San Francisquito Creek Trail.  The dry creek bed you’re looking at will be bank to bank water during the rainy season … and dry like this about 11 months a year.  The west side trail is about 2.5 miles long; there are 3 bridges over the creek during that distance so you can change to the east side if you don’t want to do the entire circuit.

South Fork Trail: Fall   Leave a comment

This running trail is the best in Santa Clarita.  It’s about 2 miles long, with most of that length offering both asphalt and dirt trails.  With the Santa Clara River on one side, and a power company right of way on the other, this seemingly secluded, shaded trail offers a wonderful opportunity to clear your head, enjoy the scenery and stretch your legs.
