Hoodoo Sunrise

Words fail to describe the beauty of Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. Bryce is famous for its forests, horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters and fanciful rock pinnacles called “hoodoos.” The park’s Farview Point offers spectacular views of the Grand Staircase — an immense sequence of sedimentary rock layers that stretch south from Bryce Canyon through Zion National Park and into the Grand Canyon. Sunrise photo by Phillip Abrams. Posted on Tumblr by the US Department of the Interior, 4/1/15.
