It’s About The Journey

What’s a blog?  A little bit of personality, a little bit of creativity.  A laugh, a realization.  Fun.

All of this, and more.

The subjects will be wide ranging.  I’m going to talk about family, and the family will join in with their ideas as well.  Growing up.  Friends.  School.  Careers.  Passion.  Work.  Life well lived.  You’ll see some pretty pictures, and hear about some of my other passions, like woodworking and genealogy.  You’ll be there as we enjoy some of the delectable family dinners that my wife, Velda, creates with the family in our kitchen.

I’ll take you from humble beginnings on a farm in Missouri to life in America’s second largest urban sprawl.  You’ll meet my newest daughter-in-law, and she’ll share some of her passionate opinions, as well.  You’ll hear about good meals, good friends and good times.  Relax a moment, and dig in!

A couple of editorial notes:

  • Lots of pictures in the blog, and they expand to full size when you click them.
  • Navigation is on the left.  Look up recent posts, or posts by category or month of posting.
  • Text that is bolded and shaded a light blue is a clickable link to relevant information.

Enjoy!

  7. Henry, I’m all about the Genealogy! I did the DNA test on Ancestry.com and it’s been a challenge trying to figure out how my New England family (both sides) got out of the area.
