Sauteed Cauliflower   1 comment

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • salt & pepper
  • olive oil
  • 2 tbsp water

Instructions

Wash cauliflower.  Separate into florets. Slice approximately 1/2″ thick.

Coat bottom of skillet with olive oil. On medium heat, add cauliflower.  Season with salt & pepper.  Stir to coat with the olive oil.

Cook without stirring for about 5 minutes to allow edges to carmelize. Add 2 tbsp of water, cover with lid and steam for about 5 minutes, or until desired softness.

Remove lid, stir. Allow water to evaporate, which allows for further carmelization. Season with salt & pepper to taste.
